Great Page! Loved the Carson Mansion.
Nice pages! The Humbodlt Bay Harbor Cruise and the Patrick's Point State Park sound especially interesting.
Great page Nancy! Looks like a lovely historic town & a great centre from which to visit the surrounding area. Those redwoods are stunning, as are the beaches:)
Great page of Eureka. We had a quick stopeover at Eureka while travelling from Oregon back to SF. Nice to read about the places in Eureka. Agate Beach is a place I would have liked to spend time at. Cheers from Penang, SL :)
Nice tips. I visited Eureka and the Redwoods last summer. Had a pleasant stay, but Eureka was pretty quiet.
Just wonderful tips with lots of valuable information and insights. Hotel tip was terrific...what a beauty. A town I knew nothing about. Thanks ever so much.
I don't know how I missed Eureka while I was living in Northern California. Looks like a great place with all those redwoods and weird Victorian mansions.
Did the explorer who found it shout "Eureka"? LOL
Those redwoods look impressive! I hope to see Eureka and redwood national park someday, it looks like a great natural wonder!
We spent an anniversary in Eureka too - a long way from our home in Australia - we loved it, the redwoods, the old mining towns between there and Sacramento. Nice memories here. leyle
