Abel Tasman is a beautiful National Park, near Nelson on the South Island of New Zealand. After hiking (or tramping as they say in NZ) for hrs through pristine native bush ,we arrived at this beautiful cove. We continued walking on the unspoiled beach until we reached the place where a water taxi picked us up and returned us to the main entrance of the park. Being from Southern California it is mind boggling to see so much unspoiled coastline that has been covered by man with only footprints ! |
