    • Unique Qualities: The Parkroyal Queenstown is a nice & clean hotel with simple decore-not flash. But it has been bought out and the new owners are planning to do a NZ $6 million renovation in May of 2005 ! It already has a GREAT location across the street from the Lake & picturesque wharf , covered with boutique shops & restuarants.We had a Lakeview room on the 5th floor the 3 pictures on my Queenstown page were taken from the deck off our room.

    Update: It's was bought out, renovated & now called the Crowne Plaza

     This is the first time I have seen a sheep shearing demonstration under "nightlife". But why not? Especially since you had a starlight cruise back to Queenstown afterwards. Sounds like an idyllic vacation spot!
