While we were in Brisbane for family reasons over the weekend we took time out to catch up with "The Douglas".
This was Peter and Therese's 1st ever VT meet! You have to start somewhere guys...no stopping now!!
Therese was worried that we wouldn't know what to talk about, well, no probs there, we didn't shut up all night.
Couldn't resist adding a photo of these 2 cute little guys!
They are my great nephews (phew makes me feel old!).
They live in Brisbane so it was our first meeting.

Hi Jen! How have you been? I enjoyed your gr8 pictures & tips on Brisbane. Steve Irwin’s Zoo & the city’s botanical gardens seem like must sees. I love the picture of the shy Koala. Hugs, Nancy : )
Great Zoo input. Hope to nab a discount myself! T2W
We were so sad to hear about Steve Irwin. Nonetheless we are assured that this man who truly cared about nature is now safe with the creator. The family is in our prayers. Thank You Steve for sharing with us here on the rez. G.Hat
I never thouth about conservation until Steve Irwin opened my eyes.He will be truly missed. My condolenlces to his loving wife and and beautiful daughters.May we all be better for having him walk among us and his beloved animals.
OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE IRWIN FAMILY IN THE TRAGEDY OF STEVE IRWIN. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED AND WE WERE GLAD HE MADE WILD LIFE SO INTERESTING TO LEARN. KIND REGARDS THE WALLACE FAMILY
