"COLOGNE" Cologne by patricia28

After visiting Boon and Dusseldorf my friends and I went to Cologne. The first impression was from the train arriving to the Köln Station, the view of the cathedral from the train is amazing.

I went this day to cologne because we were going to see the Pope. The city was crowded , people from all over the world walking to the Rhin, to be able to have a good view to wait the Pope.

We arrived early morning, we took turns to watch the place and we went out to know the city.

Cologne is a beautiful city, with many places to see , the architecture is great but the most impressive no doubt is the Cathedral. It is awesome, Huge, great. I walked all day long to be able to get into this place because it was full, but finally I did it, and it was fantastic. The structure is beautiful, with medieval style but the most amazing is the things you see inside. I had the opportunity to visit the remains of three kings magicians, that was a nice moment. I am still impresive about this place even more because it survived after the second war.

The best momet no doubt was when the Pope arrived to cologne. It was in the afternoon, there were thousand people waiting for him. We stayed in a place with all the people from Chile, I am just up of the white part of my flag =). When the ship with the Pope appeared it was a beautiful moment . The perfect day, the perfect place, the perfect moment :)
