After reading some of the comments left on other travel websites,( mainly by Canadians ) we were a bit apprehensive about what to expect from Beaches Hotel. Thankfully, we were pleasantly suprised at both the quality of the hotel and most of all by the friendly staff and we had a brilliant time there! The All-Inclusive rules in Cuba and you could literally stay here and spend no money and still have a great time. The bars were well stocked with all drinks, spirits and beer but I would really urge you to get hold of those thermal travel mugs as they were worth their weight in gold, keeping the cold drinks nice and cold, also around the pools, they only use plastic cups so you'll save yourself keep walking up to the bar. Go to Cuba with an open mind, but don't judge it against Jamaica or Cancun, because the Cubans can't compete because of the trade embargo. They make the best of what they have got and they do it very well. |
