The Embassy Cinema is a comparatively cool cinema. Featuring a mix of independent film, foreign language cinema and Hollywood favorites and is close to many restaurants in Moody St. Parking is free after 6pm Six screens. We saw Billy Elliot, there is usually something a little less mainstream to see there.

A good place to take the kids on a sunny day, is the local YMCA. (Link below). Apart from some nice big pools, there are usually some supervised childrens activities going on such as jewelry making, painting etc) to keep the smaller ones amused while you have a nice relaxing swim/read a book. Children can also have birthday parties there.
