Just a quick note about Orlando... so much more than themeparks, although they do cast their aura about the city.

Good to great nightlife. How many fabulous nights out I had in that city growing up. Some clubs would stay open until noon the next day.

For unique shopping beyond the infamous malls, try the Winter Park area. Quite charming, with cool boutiques and cafes.
