This island is GORGEOUS. It is NOT commercialized, nor built up, therefore right when we got there we had no idea really where to go. We wandered about the tiny village of Cruz Bay, stopping for breakfast at a charming little "diner" and then stumbled upon a speed boat rental place right on the water behind a bar & shops dock type thing. This seemed like the perfect way to explore the pristine, untouched beaches of st. john. It was amazing, beach after beach would appear amidst thick vegetation. We stopped at several- The sand on these beaches was so soft! The water such a wondrous color- yet utterly clear. It appeared to be great for snorkeling although we didn*t. Then came back for some shopping in the UNTOURISTY shops... we have to go back here- HAVE TO
