This is it- you have found THE place to stay while in Venice, Locanda Orseolo is perfect.

The locanda itself is both charming and beautifully appointed, in rich shades of red and exposed wood. Beautifully lit with traditional Venetian glass fixtures and such.

The locanda staff is so friendly, so helpful, you'll leave feeling like you've made new friends. The breakfast each morning is delectable... made to order crepes and omlettes, a buffet of cheeses, meats and fruit, freshly made cappucinos and espressos.

The rooms are extremely spacious, especially by Venetial standards... and so elegantly decorated. Ours had a view of a canal...heaven. And the bath is the most modern I've encountered in Europe.

I highly highly recommend this place to you... We will ONLY stay here upon our returns to Venezia.

A double room is priced between 140 euro to 240 euro depending on the time of year.

Unique Qualities: Located just a minute's walk off the San Marco arcade.. within a little iron gate- a very discreet location...

EVERYthing about this place is outstanding... location, rooms, staff, breakfast, decor, coziness, elegance....

This is a nice little place just perfect for the budget-minded traveler in Venice. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. It is clean and safe. Easily accessed by the Vaporetto in a less touristy area of Venice.

There are two room types: superior rooms are larger in size, with internal/en-suite bathrooms with shower and are air-conditioned, standard are smaller double rooms, each with their own private (non-shared) bathroom with shower next door to the room. They are airconditioned too.

A very modest breakfast consisting of a tray delivered to the room of coffee/tea with croissants, cake and biscuits is included in the price.

I would definitely recommend this place to someone traveling to Venice on a budget. It is a great deal.
