Some people hate Bangkok - noisy, smelly, dirty, crowded, infernal traffic... all the more reasons to go there I reckon! Some people view that as chaos, but I call it experience.
The food is great - don't like what you see, walk ten metres on to the next street vendor. It's cheap as chips of course, and there's something to see around every corner.
Just don't let yourself be "templed out". With so much to see it's easy to succumb to "ABT" (Another Bloody Temple) syndrome. Spread it out, take your time, and let each sight overwhelm you rather than numb you. |
