Lydia Jeannette was born on November 12, at 1:25 pm. She weighed 5 lbs 9 ozs and came in at a whopping 18 1/4 inches long. She is doing wonderfully and I promise more pics when I get them developed! *Click on the link to see our postcard from Dave... After much begging and pleading, I have decided to acquiesce to said requests and open a "My Space" account. Feel free to drop by and check it out or add me if you are a member. A word of caution to those that choose to link to the friends already added...They are a bunch of very odd individuals! My tips are slowly being moved to my travel pages. In the mean time they may be viewed at the travel tips link below%s* Check back often for updates and additions. My travel tipsI was born in KY many moons ago in Stanford. I have lived in 3 different states, attended 9 schools before graduating high school, and have lived in 10 different cities and 16 different homes (some of which more than once). I like travel because it broddens my horizons and because I have difficulty staying in one place for too long. I have done several missions all over North America but my favorite was in Appalachia. My favorite colors are yellow and green, but due to an unfortunate skin coloring I never wear either. I am going to school to get my music thereapy certification. As this is a relatively new field, this is proving more difficult than I first thought (as only one university in the state offers the masters program). I sing regularly and have a "classically trained voice" (ie instructors beat the crappy stuff out). My favorite pieces to sing include "Angel of Music", "All I Ask of You", "In the Pines", "Don't Know Why", "Only the Heart May Know", and "Down to the River to Pray". I also play many different types of drums including set and hand drums. I am allergic to eggs and bananas and just plain don't like asparagas or lima beans. It is my goal to visit each state in the US. 34 down, 16 to go! |
| | To everything Turn, turn, turn There is a season Turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time to be born, a time to die A time to plant, a time to reap A time to kill, a time to heal A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything Turn, turn, turn There is a season Turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down A time to dance, a time to mourn A time to cast away stones A time to gather stones together
To everything Turn, turn, turn There is a season Turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under Heaven
A time of love, a time of hate A time of war, a time of peace A time you may embrace A time to refrain from embracings
A time to gain, a time to lose A time to rend, a time to sew A time to love, a time to hate A time of peace, I swear it's not too late |
