I will never forget the wonderful smell! | I loved the streets signs here |
No, really. I know it sounds odd but, the smell of the citrus trees is everywhere and it's intoxicating.
We stayed in the old part of the city, near the water - it was very quaint.
We did find however that there were very much parts of the old city that seemed to be a little too ogeared for tourists. I was expecting the whole place to be magical and, though I did absolutely love it, I can't help but have been a little disappointed with Sevilla because of the touristy-type stuff.
All in all though, it was fantastic - the Alcazar was magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in the Barrio de Santa Cruz (we got lost a lot!) |
