We loved this hotel. We usually stay in an apartment around the corner, but as we were taking my parents we needed more room so booked the hotel. the rooms were great - we paid a little extra and had superior rooms at the front of the hotel. the view was of the wooded hill that leads up to petrin park. On a subsequent visit I have stayed in a room for three which are reached by entering the hotel, and then via a courtyard on the first floor. these rooms are on two floors and feature a spiral staircase.
the breakfast is a buffet of cold meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, Toast, cereals - tea - coffe etc (as expected) and the staff are freindly and polite.
the hotel is on the side of the river of the lesser town, which we much prefer. It is the side that the castle is on and we have always found fantastic bars and restaurants on this side of the river. If you know prague though you will know that no where is too far to walk as the city is very compact. From the front door of this hotel you could be on the other side of the river in less that 10 minutes and on the Old town square in about 20 minutes.

we have stayed here several times. The Apartment considts of a double bedroom, with adjoining living room area and an ensuite bathroom. it is all furnished very nicely (very IKEA) The location is superb. nad you are very close to lots of bars and restaurants. The owners will pick you up from the airport and drop you back off at the end of your stay. They also include a walking tour as part of the deal, and deduct the cost of yur breakfast at a local cafe from your bill
(the bohemian bagel does fantastic breakfast bagel and refillable coffees)

Unique Qualities: the apartment is in a resdential apartmnet block that house business on the ground floor - I think the next door neighbour is a dentist!
As soon as you are out of the building yo are literally a few steps from one of thebridges across the river. On the opposite bank is the National Theatre with its gold roof. If you walk around to the back of the apartment you are at the entrance to Kampa park, whic is a pleasent 10 minute walk through lovely park land, cobbled squares, pubs and restaurants to Charles bridge.
If you turn the other way out of tha apartment you are a 5 minute walk from the fenicular railway up to Petrin Park. Or just a 10 minute walk to the Lesser town Square wher you will find the remarkable St Nick's Church with its huge green Dome.
