Enkhuizen is a city and municipality in the region of West Friesland, in the Dutch province of North-Holland. The municipality is located on both the Markermeer and the IJsselmeer. In the municipality of 18,310 inhabitants living in an area of ​​116.04 km ² (of which 103.62 km ² water) (February 1, 2012, source: CBS). The Enkhuizen municipality comprises the same city the village and hamlet Oosterdijk Westeinde.
