Erp (Erps dialect: Èrrûp) is a village in the province of North-Brabant, situated in the Bailiwick of ’s-Hertogenbosch. Erp is part of the municipality Veghel. The village has 4931 inhabitants (1 January 2009). It is situated on the river Aa.

After the earliest period we have been part of the county Rooi (Sint-Oedenrode), Erp came in the 13th century when the Duchy of Brabant as part of the Bailiwick of ’s-Hertogenbosch and remained governed by the quarter Peelland.
