Vientiane
In all honesty i would have to say that Vientiane was my Least favorite destination in Laos. Perhaps it was the time i went or some others factors, but i left slightly dissapointed.
After having been all through the Laotian country Vientiane i found quaint but a little anticlimactical.
The city itself itself is situated on the shores of the mighty Mekong River. There are many pleasant cafes where you can sit and let your day go by and the french colonial influence is still quite pervasive in the town.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Frienly people, laid back capital
- Cons:not as good as the rest of the country
- In a nutshell:Definately go, but spend more time elsewhere in laos
