Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida (Madrid-Spain)
The main attraction of this tiny Ermita (hermitage) are the frescoes painted by Goya in 1798 and the hermitage itself was built in 1732 (main and second pics); (unfortunately,.no pics allowed of the frescoes).
The hermitage was declared National Monument, and a twin one was built next to it just for religious usees (third and fourth pics
A statue of the painter is in front of both hermiatges (fifth pic).

In this case, what I recommend you is not a day trip because the town of Almagro is a bit far. Once there, stay at least one night, there are some interesting places nearby.

I recommend to visit Chinchón, for a day trip, it's only at 45 kms. from Madrid.
