"Pisa" a Pisa Travel Page by Redang

Yes, Pisa offers, from my point of view, many attarctions other than the ones almost all the people go to visit, and not so famous.

I went to Pisa from Florence by train, and what I did, was:

I left the train at Stazione Centrale (the most important of Pisa), and went to visit some sights I considered very interesting. Then, I went to Campo dei Miracoli, where the famous monuments are.

After visiting them, I went to the other railway station which is very close and called Stazione Pisa-S. Rossore to take a train to Lucca. After this town, I went back to Florence by train again.

If you want to skip the, let's say, not famous attractions, I recommend to go to S. Rossore, it's much closer than the other one, but do check the schedule, not all the trains stop there.

Apart from Campo dei Miracoli or Piazza del Duomo, as I wrote before, I visited some other sights. These ones will be found in the Off the Beaten Path section.
