    • If I return to Cairo one day I will stay here again. It is an oasis away from the bustle of Cairo's hectic city. I am not put off by the necessity to travel 1/2 hour along a traffic choked road. However, it is important to have a room in the palace as the garden rooms are within earshot of a very noisy road - in Egypt this means constant hooting of horns, day and night. Service was superb. I left my shoes outside my room as they were a little dirty. In two minutes there was a knock on the door "Your clean shoes, sir"!

    Unique Qualities: Beautiful location at the foot of the pyramids, Large gardens, swimming pool, fantastic staff.
