Boat The river station is at the end of Portovaya St. (ulitsa Portovaya), which is the continuation of Tatarstan St. (ulitsa Tatarstan).
Around Kazan The
Raifa Monastery (Raifsky Bogroditsky Monastyr) was consecrated in 1665, it lies about 20km west of Kazan in the village of Raifa. To get there take bus No 104 from the stop 200m to the left as you exit the long distance train station. The trip take about 50 minutes and the fare is $0.30.
