My trip to New York this past New Years was amazing and much more pleasant then the last time I was here (9-11-01) working. Time Square was madness on NYE but a lot of fun. NYPD had the situation under control and all one million revelers had the time of their lives.
Much to see and do, I suggest at least 4 full days. Subways are easiest and cheapest form of travel but there is nothing like a pulse raising New York City taxi ride. Other forms of transportation can range from bus to limo to a romantic horse drawn carriage.
The Marriot is a beautiful hotel with a rotating restaurant and the top with a pretty good 360 degree veiw of Manhattan, the food is fantastic and it is one of the premiere places to eat in the city.
The staff was great and the hotel has many services ranging from (2) starbucks, a kiosk to buy Broadway Show tickets, giftshops, meeting halls, banquet rooms, bars, lounge and food. There is even a Sushi Bar!
Unique Qualities: The rotating restaurant was my favorite. The food is great, reasonable priced and you get a great veiw.
