Visit the schools and orphanages

There are so many children and families that need help in Cambodia that one could easily spend a majority of their time just visiting these places. You meet the most amazing people doing some incredible things. The Battambang Street Family Center was one of the best programs we have ever visited. They helped street families get a vocation and housing.

Directions: Outside battambang, or anywhere else in the country for other like places.

Floating village

Outside of Siem Reap is a floating village filled with refugees who have been living on the water for years and years. The trip was interesting and a good break from the temples.

Exploring the temples

Tuk-Tuk is the only way to go for exploring the temples. A "must" for any Se Asia trip. An incredible and fun experience.

Directions: Angkor temples. Follow the other tuk-tuks. You can find them all around the city. Our driver/aspiring guide was named Polin. Ask around in town for him. He was very good with our child, and he was studying hard to become a better guide.
