We made a decision on Thursday to go to Wales for the weekend. It was a great decision as the Wales i saw was fantastic. Very nice scenary and friendly people. Obviously a weekend is not enough to describe Wales, but it was a great place to go to escape from the hustle and bustle of most of the English cities. Cardiff was abuzz with preparations for St David's day and the Wales rugby game versus France. A very patriotic and proud town. |
| | Tintern Abbey We stayed at a hotel directly opposite Tintern Abbey,. Tintern is a small country town about 40 minuts north of Cardiff and worth a visit. |
