Hi !

Have only just joined so this is all very incomplete, but I'm collecting inspiration from all the great homepages here, but I obviously can't keep this page blank, so...

My name is Anni, I'm a 32 year old Danish girl ( yes, I still think I'm just a girl) I've been living in London for the past 5.5 years, before that I lived in the beautiful city of Hamburg in Germany for about the same amount of time.

I'm almost a born and bred ex-pat / traveller, I moved to Saudi Arabia at the age of 6 and lived there for 6 years, I had the good fortune to have parents who used the opportunity to explore the region while they were there, so I have some wonderful memories ( unfortunatley no pictures to share with you all).

Since growing up - well actually just getting older ( it's more accurate) I haven't done much travelling at all. Am always quite "busy" partying and going to rock concerts.
I did however manage to go to Cuba 3 times in 6 months about 3 years ago, it was always my dream to go there, ever since I was a teenager I've been facinated with the country and all I can say is I wasn't disappointed - it's magical there & one of the few places on earth that isn't clogged with McD's, Starbucks & other chains in every town. GO THERE before the commandante dies and it all changes is my advice. Have finally managed to scan some of the photos from Cuba for my travel pages. The descriptions and tips may be a little vague, it's hard to remember everything after such a long time & I don't travel like many people with the goal of seeing everything, so I have probably not seen as much as some people, but I have completely different and more personal experiences instead.

Just wanted to share one of my favourate poems with you all, it's by the late great Dorothy Parker & is a little (or a lot like my way of thinking)

If I don't drive around the park,
I'm pretty sure to make my mark.
If I'm in bed each night by ten,
I may get back my looks again.
If I adstain from fun and such,
I'll probably amount to much;
But I shall stay the way I am,
Because I do not give a damn.

My Mexico Travel pages - I'm being a little slow in getting them built, but be patient I'm on the case ( turtle pace though....)

Had a lovely time in Mexico and REALLY want to go back.
