If you happen to be planning your trip around this time, you are in luck because this is when the country's state-owned monuments e.g. Palais d'Elysée, Palais du Luxembourg etc. are open to the public, only once a year! I was lucky to visit Palais du Luxembourg, its interior is simply unbelievable and amazing.

Place du Tertre Montmartre - Sacré Coeur Review

All the artists gather around in this place and exhibit their works of arts. Their artwork is really amazing. I have nothing but praises for them. Some paint on the spot and many can also draw self-portraits of you for a price. If you have the money to spend, you can even buy the art pieces back. Cash/credit cards are accepted.

Directions: You can walk from the metro station "Anvers" to Sacré-Coeur Basilica. Place du Tertre is just beside it.
