Toulouse is known as" La Ville Rose" or "The Rose City" in English and with all of the red brick used in the arcitecture, its not hard to see why. It is a city of 600,000 people and is France's fourth largest city. Toulouse is also the capital of the Midi-Pyrénées region located in the south of France. The river, small cobble stone streets and classic French architecture give Toulouse a very intimate feeling, which you wouldn't expect from such a large city. |
