Twice I have had the privelage of visiting Rothenburg, located in southeast Germany. Rothenburg is an absolutely delightful town that has remained essentially unchanged for over 500 years.

There are many shops, bakeries, and restaurants to explore while in town. One traditional treat worth trying is the "snowball," which comes in many different flavors from powdered sugar to chocolate.

There is an impressive wall around the town of Rothenburg with several towers. Walking on and around the wall is a great experience.
