Serra da Estrela is a touristic spot for portuguese people. In summer, people come here to cnjoy the views. In winter, they come here to see the snow. But, Serra da Estrela is more than it and the most interesting places are empty of tourists and full of beauty.

Two important rivers born here: Mondego and Zezere. Besides that, there are plenty of water births, lagoons, small rivers and water falls. The best season to watch this is in winter late or spring.

Autumn is a great season to visit Serra da Estrela. If you come in late season, you may watch a mix of this foliage with snow. Really beautiful. Besides that, it's a great season to hike and ride a bicycle.
