Grand Palace / Wat Phra Kaew: Royal Palace

The palace sits on about 60 acres and holds the bulk of Thailand's greatest treasures, including the Emerald Buddha in Thailand's most scared temple, Wat Phra Kaew.

  • We saw more tourist here then vendors on boats. Hahaha .. yes this is where the tourist comes to buy and experience sitting on boats and going around in the market area.

There are many things on sales like food, fruits, vegetables, souvenir, bags, and handcrafts. I doubt they are made here but you have to bargain hard! You might have a better deal after all.

Very impressive pages, Mary. I learned a new term [Tuk tuk]. Excellent warnings tips. I was fascinated with the Tiger Temple...seems dangerous. Liked the floating market. Great photos.
