I only stopped on the way to Florence, by train, arriving about 2 in the afternoon to find a hotel. Then I left the next morning, by train.

I walked to the beach after checking into my room. I'll do a tip on that hotel. It was a good one, that Rick Steves recommends, but I didn't know that until I arrived at the Desk !

I liked walking around between the train station and the beach. Enjoyed the cafe I found to sit outside, with everyone on a hot afternoon. There are several internet/phone shops in the area. I was glad for that.
