Nightlife Spot: Chill Out
Chill Out is a bar on the path behind the train station (take the path labled "Zum Markt") and before the old town of Berchtesgaden. It is devided into three areas all on one level. One is leather couches and chairs, the middle section is the bar and some high tables, and the third section is a type of Eastern opium den setting with lay down benches, tons of pillows and a couple hochas. The staff speak English and the general atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Try the Banana Beer, it's outstanding.
