Walking to town

I stayed in Berchtesgaden from March 20 to April 3, 2005 at the Jugendherberge 20 mins. walking time outside of town.

Pros:	"Great views, Konigsee, Nazi ruins, WWII history, salt mine, easy travel, hiking, skiing"
In A Nutshell:	"Outstanding little town nestled in the mountains, easily gotten to by train, bus and car"
