We chose a last minute package to Morocco and Agadir was the only real option, it suited us as it was near the Souss Massa Nature reserve and we thought it would make us a decent base to explore a bit of Morocco. Having no real info on the place I surfed around and was dissapointed with alot of VT's reviews. So I was pleased when we found the town to be clean, safe with some good restaurants and bars. We are not beachy people ourselves but for anyone who is the beach looks great with golden sand and plenty of it. The Hotel was not the best but perfectly adequate clean rooms and two bars.The pool area was clean and tidy and always plenty of people around it who seemed to be enjoying the sun. In the seven days we had in Agadir we were well placed for Marrakech. Tafraout, Essaouira and the Souss Massa with three days dossing around the city.

The markets were full of fresh food and spices, our supermarkets should learn a thing or two. The smile on this man's face is a lesson for some of our supermarket staff too.
