It is amazing what you find when you are having a bit of a trawl through your VT pages. I came upon this page in December 2010 to find an apology and a plea for patience as I had not got round to constructing the tips yet. The succeeding paragraphs shall remain as a reminder of that initial entry. Well, in the way of these things, I never did quite get round to doing it so the tips (such as they are) are coloured by a fading memory and carrying the caveat that they are all over three years old.
I am afraid the notes mentioned never did turn up so I have tried, where possible, to verify the information from other sources. Apologies again, I really must pull my sock up!
Original posting.
I visited Brno, the wonderful and historic second city of the Czech Republic on a gloriously sunny weekend in early June, 2007.
Since that time, I have moved house, and not very cleverly managed to lose all the notes I had taken for constructing tips. You know how it is when you move!
I shall, therefore, start off this page with a couple of travelogues of assorted photos, and try to get some tips together from other sources, memory or if I ever do find the elusive notes.
- Pros:Friendly city, nice architecture, relatively untouristed.
- Cons:Lack of budget accommodation.
- In a nutshell:A great place for a few days break.

Fergy, I think that I have mentioned before how very much I enjoy the way you write your tips. Your style is refreshing and this page is certainly no exception most especially when one takes into consideration that you wrote these tips three years after the visit. Well done, makes me want to go to Brno.
