The Biggest Little City In The World Reno is know for it's hotels and casinos though it has a distinct greener side which is well worth exploring. The Truckee River is a big draw in Reno and for good reason. It hosts beautiful landscapes and is a favorite spot for the locals and visitors alike. A walk along the Truckee River and you will get lost in the serenity and peacefulness. On the south side you will see hillside mansions adorning the river and the other side hosts a country setting of suburbia lined with trees and greenery. It was most beautiful during this visit in Autumn. Reds, golds and orange leafed trees lining the streets and pathway along the river. |
| The City That Never Sleeps |
| | 24 hour gaming, dining and excitement oasis. This city literally never sleeps. With it's hotel casinos residing on Virginia Street, the main drag through town, you've got everything you need in a 5 to six block area. You can gamble, eat, see circus shows etc... all night long. |
| | The Arts Reno has a large arts district which comes alive during the summer months. The Nevada Museum of Art is a wonderful way to get a taste of the art world in this little town. There is a diverse sampling of artwork by various artists which include an exhibition of Yosemite which is truly amazing. The rooftop of the art museum hosts a couple of sculptures as well as breathtaking views of Reno itself. |
