My Hong Kong Adventure

by poetjo - last update: Jun 18, 2008

A Symphony of Lights

Me with the Symphony of Lights Background
Well, I've traveled to Hong Kong twice now within three years and that's just not enough. It is my home away from home and I plan to spend much more time exploring the cultural traditions that make Hong Kong so vibrant. These pages include tips and photos of both visits. Hopefully it will include much more from a third visit.

I have yet to see anything more entertaining and spectacular than the nightly Symphony of Lights over Victoria Harbor. There is just nothing like it anywhere. This photo was taken in March 2008.

The Star Ferry

On The Star Ferry To Kowloon

Title, from a song my friend recorded after spending 4 months performing at the InterContinental Hotel in Kowloon. The star ferry is a charming little gem and I can just never get enough of it. I would ride it just for the sake of riding it.

My Home Away From Home.

During my 2005 visit and a tour to Victoria Peak we just happened to hit a clear and warm day. The views - phenomenal.
