Month St Michel is claimed to be one of the seven wonders of the world. I don’t know about you, but I can never figure out which are the real wonders of the world as many countries claim that one of the seven is theirs. However, having been to Mont St. Michel, which is a city built on a rock of the sea, I couldn't agree more. It is wonderful indeed ! When the tide is high, it emerges like an island sticking out of the sea. Really is impressive. Technically Mont St Michel is a peninsula. The town is, of course, very old & charming. Although it is now virtually a tourist attraction, I understood some people do occupy some of the old houses. They must have got used to the nuisance caused by tourists (poor them)

Great photos! Definitely looking forward to visiting here some day...
I discovered a beautiful shop in Mont Saint Michel which sales typical products of Normandy and Brittany. Moreover, the shop assistants are very friendly. This shop is really out of the ordinary... Have a look: www.mont-saint-michel-shop.com
