We were there by a sunny sunday afternoon, expecting nothing than walking in the nature. Targetting the church as a central and easy place to park the car, we looked for and found a sign indicating a walking route. We noticed many signs but rarely the ones we wanted to follow. Anyway, we met many people and bicycles to be informed and we finally arrived at two major attractions:
- Eating an icecream at Blijdenberghoeve
- Looking at the Zellaer Kasteel.

Other tips of that small city (14000 inhab.):
- Hotel-restaurant 'In den Bonten Os': a whole meal with asparagus during the season.
- International folk festival aug 2005
- International lace market: 25 sept 2005.
