| | Eu aprendo Portugues At the moment teaching myself Portuguese through the use of Books, CD's and CD-Roms. I am planning to go back to Brazil over the Christmas period so am absolutely determined to get my Portuguese up to a conversational level.
I am so pleased with myself at the moment. I managed to get Pimsleur Portuguese Levels 1 and 2 cd's on Ebay for £4. What a bargain? That would have been a full retail price normally pushing over £250... And what a wonderful program it is... I can FEEL the improvement. I listen to it on my way to work and from work and sometimes on my lunch hour!!! |
The theatre I love going to the theatre... the last thing I saw was Hedda Gabler at The Duke of York Theatre... I highly recomend it... It is still running... Here is a brief summary:
"Arriving home for an extended honeymoon Hedda Gabler struggles with an existence that is, for her, devoid of excitement or enchantment. Filled with a passion that cannot be confined by her marriage or 'perfect home', Hedda strives to find a way to fulfil her desires by manipulating those around her" | | | The Duke of York Theatre, London |
