I arrived in Columbus, the intergalactic center of Planet Ohiooo, in November 2003 at 18:46. Ohiooo is the puzzle piece that links the East Coast and the West Coast and prevents them from floating in the oceans as separate islands. The residents of Planet Ohiooo are usually referred to as Ohioohoos. (FYI: an Ohioohoo does not belong to the same species as a Hooloovoo). The residents of Columbus are all called Christopher. Important: they are not related to Christopher M. Johnson because he's from Los Angeles. Columbus maintains certain casual intergalactic connections with the pyramid in Karlsruhe and is a sub-galactic center of the Center of the Universe a.k.a. Tel Aviv. Columbus is known for its close friendship in alphabetical order with several terrestrial cities, such as: - Dresden, Germany - Genoa, Italy - Heifei, China - Herzliya, Israel - Odense, Denmark - Sevilla, Spain - Tainan City, Taiwan and the extraterrestrial city: - zttqzqt[3(-478+1.5)-9]blrbx on Aldebaran IV b. |
| | High on High Street Another interesting aspect of Columbus is that its Main Street, unlike in any other city, is called High Street. This is good news as you don't have to walk along yet another Main Street USA, but, for a welcome change, you'll find yourself on High Street USA. Rest assured that it's tons more fun being high on High Street than following the main stream on Main Street. Flower Power to High Street! |
High Street Mural This is one of many visionary highs you'll encounter on High Street. This particular high can be experienced for free right next to the convenience store across from OSU where I spent time studying life, together with Zohar and Anti-Anat. Zohar was musically involved, I was literally involved (reading accumulated short stories by Stefan Zweig and trying to get a grip on Vertigo by W.G. Sebald), and Anti-Anat was busily creating random, amorphous poetry on Zohar's computer whenever she got a chance. For additional visionary highs and highlights, walk this way along High Street. | | | High Street Mural, Columbus |
