You'll find these little cliffside chapels all over Malta. This one is in a beautiful location on the Dingli Cliffs, hence its name Dingli Chapel. The little chapels mainly catered to fisherman and other seafaring folk. These cliffside chapels are very interesting because almost all of them are locked almost all of the time because they are not in use anymore, so you can't see the inside. What you can see is the beautiful surrounding and feel its uplifting spirit that, no doubt, helped the spirituality experienced by the worshippers in the cliffside chapels. Each cliffside chapel is dedicated to a special water spirit. Be careful not to fall off the cliffs into the water, I don't know how reliable the water spirits are with supplying life savers and boats.
