Dingli, not Dingle

by Trillian2005 - last update: Feb 13, 2007

Dingli Cliffs

Spectacular Dingli Cliff View
Very close to the small village of Dingli you'll come across the fantastic Dingli Cliffs with a spectacular 220 m drop off to the sea. They're not to be mistaken for the equally fantastic Dingle Cliffs in Ireland. The Dingli Cliffs were named after the famous Maltese 17th-century architect Tommaso Dingli, who designed them and their fabulous coastal views. The best thing to do is to go for a leisurely walk and enjoy the views from all their angles and perspectives. Make sure you don't fall off! There really isn't much else to say, the pictures are self-explanatory.

I say: too much mingling in Dingli cannot be good either as there is a risk that someone might fall off....

I simply delight in such folly. You are to be congratulated Trill for finding such foolishness or perhaps creating more mischief? Does one have to visit as part of a group...or can one go to Dingli, singli?

Amusing tips :) There is a place called the Dingle, near me, no cliffs but if you are going by train its amusing to buy a single ;)
