Alzough Zurrieq zounds a bit like Zurich, it has, as far as I know, nozing at all to do wiz Zwitzerland. Zurrieq is a zuper zool town in Malta. Malta is an island and zurrounded by ze zea, whereas Zwitzerland is not zurrounded by any zea but by a lot of high mountains, alzo known az ze Alpz. It is about 7 km from Valletta. In Zurrieq you zan find ze olde car ruts, ze Xarolla Windmill, ze Zarolla, oops, Xarolla zatazombz, ze Olde Zurrieq Zurch and many ozer zuper zights. Alzo, ze town is cloze to ze Blue Grotto, which is a must-zee!

Ze Xarolla Windmill in Zurrieq was built by ze Knights of ze St. John's Order in ze zevenz zentury. Zis unique windmill is ze only functioning windmill in Malta, but only when it's windy. Ze windmill accessible to ze public on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. You're welcome to take a guided tour where you will be shown all ze rooms of the windmill, told its lengzy history plus you can check out the zecond floor and ze wooden mechanism of ze windmill. Hopefully your Zurrieq tour guide knowz where to plaze ze z's, ozerwise the windmill'z ztory might be a bit diffizult to underzstand.

Ze Olde Zurrieq Zurch is olde and zuper zool az everyzing in Zurrieq. It iz very cloze to ze Xarolla Windmill, zo it's best to zee boz of zem, you might az well while you're in ze area. Ze Olde Zurrieq Zurch is zometimez open and zometimez clozed, unfortunately I wasn't able to find out when exactly it iz open.
