See the sea sunsets, they are spectacular, beautiful, romantic, relaxing, and inspiring. Where? Anywhere on the beach. When? In the evening (time varies according to season). How much? No admission fee!

Things To Do: Feed the Tel Aviv Street Cats

Tel Aviv has a quickly multiplying number of street cats in all sorts of shapes and colors and, for that very reason, the poor creatures have been deprived of their favorite snacks, such as barbecued canal rat and minced mice pie. So far the cats have been collecting yummy tidbits at their favorite fast-food restaurant chain "MacTrash Can's", where they can find delicatessen, such as pickled herring pizza (thrown away in despair and disgust by a customer who ordered olive pizza), or tuna-orange cake for dessert. I'm afraid that restaurant chain won't much longer be a sufficient culinary support for the growing feline population, hence the recent city efforts, sponsored by residents and tourists alike, with the motto: "Feed a Street Cat". Street cats are happy about a large donation of high quality cat food or healthy leftovers from your lunch or dinner. This cat family has been enjoying two cans of multi-proteine, high-vitamin, multi-cultural Simba cat chow, without any artificial ingredients other than the can. And check out the pictures - these cats are happy campers with shiny fur and the required BMI (Body Mass Index) for their age.

Very hot here too. We left home at 6.30AM and returned by 9.00. Visited Tel Qadesh (close to K8) and Bar'am and had picnic in Bar'am. Not hiking, just strolling around. |
