Vancouver - another big city

vancouver- the cleanist city I've been to. However I found it just like any other major city -big, skyscrapers, not personal but ok as a base for a couple of nights. We stayed in a small hotel called St Regis which was centrally located, we could walk most places at night. Canada place good for watching float planes and stanley park was nice

kayaking with Killer Whales on Vancouver Island

Not quite as the tin!!!! More camping and watching and listening to the Orca's and then Kayaking in the down time. No hydrophones either. Still and amazing five days to be awoken by a pod of whales at 2am blowing water from their blow hole, errie sound. Camp wa basic but what we were expecting. The open air toilet had to have the best view ever across Johnston Strait!! In addtion to Orca's we saw bald headed eagles, sea lions, porpoises, seals and many more. only rained one night and had a camp fire

The rockies - awesome!

We drove from Vancouver to Jasper via Kamloops for a few days then down the icefields parkway to banff and yes we saw a bear!!!! My dream holiday lived up to expectations, the rockies were amazing, you get a bit mountained out!!!!
