| Mount Fitz Roy on clear day!!! |
'My husband and I spent eight wonderful nights in Pataognia in March 2005. The scenery was outstanding, views of Mout Fitz Roy and glaciers we will remember for ever. We were fortunate to be the only people in our tour party and had two fantastic guides to ourselves. This meant we could push (or I should say the guides could) ourselves beyond our limits but safely. The hikes enabled us to see countryside and views that day trips wouldn't and made us feel closer to true Patagonia. I'd never been camping before but enjoyed every minute of it. We didn't want to leave the tiny town of El Chalten - it was so innocent and our only regret is that we could only spend a short time in Patagonia. Go to Patagonia the 'wind it doth blow' but how beautiful |

Redlats Wed Aug 9, 2006 23:53 UTC Cool! Ice hiking and sleeping in igloos. I can't imagine showering in glacial water. It would be brisk! |
