    • Gambia has the nastiest mozzies in the UNIVERSE. Take a couple of anti mozzie machines with you.
    Plug them in, just before you go out for your evening meal, and spray your room with a good insect killer. When you get back to your room you should end up with a decent nights sleep.

    • Shopping can be a real hassle.
    We would recomend that you take a guide with you when you go shopping ( cost about £1 a day )
    If he does his job right you should enjoy looking round the shops and stalls with little or no hassle.
    Please be patient with the people of Gambia.
    They are very friendly and do need to work to earn a living. They can be sometimes a little persistent, if you tell them "Alma Delasi" which means " I have no money " they tend to back off.
