The start of our journeys to lands anew Turkey was the first country we went to for a holiday. Friends thought it strange that we chose this beautiful country to visit for our first trip abroad. We were not disappointed; it lived up to everything we expected. Stunning scenery, friendly people, and a good all round holiday. |

If you are at all interested in learning what this great man did for Turkey, I would suggest you go to the website that tells you everything about him. An Islamic Country Turkey is an Islamic country, and as such, travellers should be aware of their local customs. If your hotel is near a Mosque, you may get disturbed in the early morning with the call to prayer. Although topless bathing is common in Turkey at the resorts, it is still illegal, you may be asked to cover up or you could face prosecution |
