Hello and welcome to my Halifax page.
Just a short introduction to explain what I have done and why.

Not much about Halifax was featured on VT, so I decided that I would put that right.
All the tips on this page have been personally experienced by me, all the photo’s are mine (unless otherwise stated and with permission) except the hotel tips.
It is unfeasible for someone to live in a town and spend a night at one of its local hotels.
Therefore all hotels mentioned here have been visited by me, checked out and as best that I can and with an accurate description of the hotel and its amenities.

Food

FOOD
As some of you might know, I do like my food.
Some of the restaurants featured are not actually in Halifax; this is because I don’t think that travelling 30 miles for a good meal is out of the question.
Having said that, there are plenty of good ones in and around Halifax.

When I look at what food is on offer in and around our main tourist sites in the UK, I am very disappointed with what is being served.
I can understand why some tourists to the UK say that the food here is rubbish. Thankfully there are still some good places to eat.

I also know that when people want to rate your tips, they won’t rate restaurant tips that sell other than the local food. You must therefore remember that fish and chips, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, pie and peas are no longer the countries favourite dishes, this as been overtaken by curry.
Therefore all my restaurant tips are to let you know what is on offer in Halifax.

The UK have now introduced a new system to rate the overall cleaniness of outlets that serve food. This includes schools, restaraunts, take-aways etc.
